Opening Ceremonies!!! You can feel the change in the air today- the relaxed vibe has changed to excitement and high energy- a lot of activity. Saw the torch pass which was very exciting, and there seems to be a really good turnout of people despite the rain! Can’t wait for tonight!

Getting ready to showtime tomorrow and still a very nice, calm vibe going on- extremely busy, but people seem happy. The food here is surprisingly good, and we have way more than enough choices, our own free Starbucks, and way too many snacks and goodies. Our work area is very organized and convenient. Transferring info between the NY and Vancouver Music rooms has been really seamless, so we’re ready!
2.10.10
Today we decorated the Music Room with lots of posters: Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Radiohead, Lady Gaga, JayZ… We used to bring tens of thousands of cd’s with us and it made the room feel so musical- floor to ceiling CD’s- Now we bring our hard drives! So we wanted to created a vibe, and everyone says it feels great!
2.9.10
Word is out the Music Room is now open: Everyone is stopping by! A lot of people we’ve worked with before which makes things go so smoothly. A lot of training of the newcomers, and helping people get their musical thoughts together beforehand so we have an idea of what they may need down the road- exciting!

Finally arrived at the IBC! As “seasoned pros” at this by now, we’re prepared for a lot of activity: getting equipment set up, meeting people, making sure everything in the music room works, finding where everything is, and greeting old friends!
Energy is great here- people are relaxed and happy, and all seems in good order! Can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since we were all in Beijing!

Arrived after a very easy flight nonstop to Vancouver. The hotel is beautiful, and only a couple blocks from the International Broadcast Center where we work. We’re in downtown Vancouver which is great. A lot of people are spread out due to the outer venues like Whistler being further away.
Getting the New York team up and running- We a have a staffed Music Room at 30 Rock in New York, to back up the Vancouver efforts, as well as the Audiobrain Team on 22nd Street pitching in as well!

Author David Meerman Scott sings praises of Audiobrain. We had the pleasure of working with David after he contacted us to compose him a theme song for his branded identities. David is a true jet-setter, traveling the globe spreading positive vibes of global marketplaces. David shows us how everyone is connected – even more closely than the famous ’six degrees of separation’ in many cases, we just have to wake up and see it!
If you ever have the opportunity to see David speak live, seize the day! You will be inspired, we guarantee it. And don’t forget to listen to the music as he gets to and from the podium – you’ll be able to hear some wholly original Audiobrain music.
All of us here at Audiobrain are huge sports fans, and when we had the chance to create a national anthemic theme for Major League Soccer we were very excited. Now, every time you witness a professional soccer game, you’ll get pumped up by the music as the players enter the field – just know that it came from us!
This theme is now everywhere from Rhapsody, to iTunes, to eMusic. Just so you can fully appreciate how universal this piece of music is, here are some examples of our theme in action:
