Our long-awaited Emmy has finally arrived at the Audiobrain Studios. Audrey Arbeeny received the award as part of the NBC Team for the Best Live Event Turnaround for the NBC Beijing Olympics Games Broadcast. Thanks to all at NBC, and we are looking forward to Vancouver 2010 Olympics, our fifth collaboration! NBC Torino Olympics Centerpiece Film “The Great Race” Composition by AudiobrainThursday, September 17th, 2009Audiobrain’s long-term relationship with NBC Olympics includes Sonic Branding Strategy, Original Composition, Music licensing, supervision and onsite creative direction for 4 Olympics Broadcasts for NBC. Audiobrain was NBC’s On-Site Music Supervisors for the Beijing Olympics 2008, and will return in this role for the Vancouver Olympics. Here is an excerpt from Audiobrain’s original composition for “The Great Race” NBC’s Torino Olympics Centerpiece film. The 30-minute documentary highlighted the upset by the Italian 4×10km relay team over the heavily favored Norwegians team, and was narrated by Sam Waterston. Audiobrain will once again serve as Music Supervisors for NBC’s Vancouver Olympics Broadcast, it was announced today. Audiobrain will be responsible for the management of the music systems as well as music support for the NBC Networks, nbcolympics.com and on-demand both onsite in Vancouver and at 30 Rock in New York. This is our fifth Olympics initiative with our amazing colleagues at NBC and we thank you for once again choosing us as your music team! The Vancouver Olympics are February 12-28, 2010. Along with the NBC Olympics Production Team, Audiobrain Owner and Executive Producer Audrey Arbeeny was awarded an Emmy Award in the category Outstanding Live Event Turnaround for NBC’s Broadcast of the Beijing Olympics. Audrey was Music Supervisor for the Networks of NBC and along with the entire Audiobrain team headed the music operations for the networks of NBC in both Beijing and New York.
